Stephen Tendrich is a Florida native. Early in his career, he moved to New York, becoming a mixologist, a radio personality, a certified baker (started his own home baking business in Brooklyn), and an American Sign Language educator.
Stephen received his B.A. in Communications from Flagler College, a Master’s Degree in teaching American Sign Language as a Foreign Language from Teacher’s College, Columbia University, and a Culinary Certificate from the Culinary Academy of Long Island, New York. After Columbia University, Stephen traveled to Ghana, Africa, volunteering at a Deaf and Blind School to educate students on learning the English language in written form; a truly life changing experience.
In 2011, Stephen father's was diagnosed with prostate cancer. His father survived but wasn’t doing well with the consequences of treatment. It was time for Stephen to leave New York, return to home in Florida, and be close to his parents. Consequently, Stephen, furthering his community service, created the non-profit, Pink Nail Society, Inc. (www.pinknailsociety.org), to help men, like his father, realize they are not alone in their ongoing survival. Stephen and the Pink Nail Society offer emotional support and raise prostate health & cancer awareness.
Now, Tendrich is pursuing the long sought desire, entering the real estate realm, to help others transition to a new home. Stephen believes, there truly is no place like your perfect home.
