Professional Achievement | I have become a skilled real estate agent for Keller Williams Marquee in Edwardsville, Illinois. I have taught in the public school system for over 10 years. |
Community Involvement | I have directed church choirs at Methodist Churches as part of Reconciling Ministry that welcomes everyone JUST AS THEY ARE. The information outside literally says, "Come as you are, seriously." LOVE IT! One was Grace United Methodist Church in Billings, Montana. I'm currently at 1st United Methodist Church in O'Fallon, Illinois. I like to volunteer for pet rescues such as Larimer County Humane Society (in Colorado), Rimrock Humane Society and Yellowstone Valley Animal Shelter (both in Montana), and Partners 4 Pets (in Troy, Illinois.) I am an advocate for Multiple Sclerosis research since I have three family members with MS. The Learning Tree is a Christian based PreSchool in which I get to help out while I'm working on music for the church. I have sun with the St. Louis Chamber Chorus and have performed in many different performance spaces that are booked due to the acoustics needed for the song choices by Dr. Philip Bares, the conductor. I sing with the No Name Chorale, which combines professional and college-aged students from the Metro East (St. Louis) location in Belleville, IL. I play the saxophone for special music in the church orchestra. |
Bio | Whether you are looking for your first home, your dream home, or your in-between home, I am here to help! Born and raised in the mountains of Colorado, I grew up on a Texas Longhorn ranch and learned to have a hard work ethic from a young age. This along with having a positive, can-do attitude, helped me to excel in sports, academics, farming/ranching, teaching, musical performance and real estate. I earned my Bachelors and Masters degrees from Colorado State University in Education. I taught for many years in Colorado, Montana, and here in Illinois while helping my students to reach their goals and fulfill their potential. Most recently, I taught at high school choir at OTHS, and worked from dawn until dusk to provide support for students in the depth of the pandemic. |
