Bio |
Jake Gaddis knew at an early age that he had a passion for real estate, obtaining his license at just 18. A native of Maryland’s Eastern Shore, he began his real estate career selling homes along the coast and working as an assistant for a local agent in the summertime. He went on to earn a bachelor's degree in finance and real estate from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University, before moving to the Washington, DC area full-time.
Prior to joining TTR Sotheby’s International Realty, Jake served as a brokerage manager for Long and Foster Real Estate in Northwest Washington, DC. Before moving into residential real estate full-time, Jake worked for Deloitte LLP in commercial real estate consulting. While there he focused on clients with multi-billion-dollar real estate portfolios spanning across North America, with property types ranging from residential to industrial, and everything in between. Jake is regarded amongst his colleagues as a trusted confidant and creative thinker.
Jake has a special relationship with the Sotheby’s International Realty brand. Prior to moving to the DC metro area, Jake was a real estate advisor for Atlantic Shores Sotheby’s International Realty. It was this experience that first showed him the strength of the Sotheby’s International Realty brand and made it that much sweeter to return in the fall of 2022.
In addition to the DC area, Jake has spent time living in Chicago, Atlanta, and both the North Carolina and Maryland beaches. In the summer months, Jake can be found anchored at his favorite island beach in Maryland, and in the winter, he enjoys traveling, and spending time with friends and family.
