Professional Achievement	After 20+ years in the Hospitality industry – it became clear with the changes in San Francisco brought on by COVID – that the industry was not going to come back in any robust way for a few years. So I have become a Loan Officer – and I'm finding that many of my skills from Hospitality are quite transferrable, mainly customer service skills. I'm enjoying the transition and enjoy helping borrowers find the right fit for them.
Community Involvement	As an Undergrad at UC Irvine, I was the Co-President of the LGBT Student Union and helped move the Orange County Pride to the UCI campus to help improve safety. In 1990, I moved to San Francisco and got two master degrees in writing. In addition to raising my voice at protests and rallies, and my queer plays in independent theatre (The Duboce Triangle at the dearly departed Josie's), Theatre Rhino (Missives) and NCTC – I taught creative writing for three years at the Shanti Project to PWA, and lead a playwrighting class at NCTC for over a decade.

He and his team stay in touch with the borrowers and realtors through out the process, and our innovative pod system helps shorten closing time. He is also a working playwright with plays produced in the US, Mexico, Romania and Spain.
