Bio |
Chip was born and raised in Houston, Texas. He majored in Music History & Literature at Ohio Wesleyan University in Delaware, Ohio. His primary instrument was piano which he continues to play daily. Chip worked in Ohio and California in the Telecommunications industry for 15 years designing business telephone/voicemail systems. He relocated to Sacramento from Ohio in 1995. His favorite hobbies are piano, perennial gardening and collecting art. Chip lives in the South Land Park community.
Chip received his Real Estate license and joined the Coldwell Banker team in 1999 and has since obtained his Brokers license in 2014. He is a Broker Associate in the Sacramento Metro office located on McKinley Park. He has recently become licensed in Hawaii and is a sales associate in the Coldwell Banker Diamond Head/Kahala office.
Chip is very involved with the local community. He is former Vice-President of the South Land Park Neighborhood Association, past President of the Art Service Group, a fundraising organization benefiting the Crocker Art Museum, current treasurer for the Ka’onohi Foundation, promoting the Hawaiian culture, a 2010 graduate of the Sacramento City Management Academy and a 2018 graduate of the Sacramento Citizens Academy. He is very involved at the Sacramento Association of Realtors he is the MetroList MLS Committee liaison to the Board of Directors, a SAR Scholarship Trustee and a member of the SAR Scholarship Fundraising Committee. He is also a Director for the California Association of Realtors.
