LGBTQ+ Real Estate Alliance signs partnership with Truist Mortgage

The LGBTQ+ Real Estate Alliance has signed an annual partnership agreement with Truist Mortgage, according to Alliance CEO Ryan Weyandt. Truist will work closely with the Alliance to support LGBTQ real estate practitioners that work with the community and advance awareness of LGBTQ homebuyer needs.

Truist is the sixth largest commercial bank in the U.S. Through its mortgage division, Truist is the first national lender to back the Alliance as a corporate sponsor at the Partner level. The lender has a leading market share in many high-growth markets after a merger that combined BB&T and SunTrust. BB&T and SunTrust, both earned perfect scores of 100 on HRC’s 2020 CEI Index and are big supporters of the LGBTQ community.
