Hate is being legislated, it is changing school curriculums, impacting where people live, its threatening our safety, and now it’s even something you may personally face in your circle of friends, relatives, co-workers, or the communities you live in. The hate of today misleads, misinforms, and often scares people into thinking false things about others who they may not understand. This hate is seen everywhere, on the news, though out social media, in our States, Cities/Towns, even in our own neighborhoods. Instead of living in fear, who are you going to be in the face of all this? How are you going to react? What are you going to say? What are you able to do?
During this session, we will discuss the following:
- How to listen beyond the Hate
- How to recreate, instead of getting reactivated
- How to respond from a commitment rather than being at the effect
- How to discover the context behind their comments, feelings or actions.
- How to powerfully express your stand, without making others wrong.
- How to be empowered, your dignity intact, and free to be fully self-expressed.
The goal isn’t about changing a mind as much as it is about transforming the way we all relate to one another, it might not work all the time, however even some of the time will elevate us all .
