After working in the corporate world for over 20 years, Stephanie Murphy was ready for a change. “I was an empty nester and wanted to find something to be passionate about,” she explains. “At that point in my life, I had bought and sold six homes myself, and I always considered becoming an agent.” Stephanie finally took the leap in 2016, and hasn’t looked back since. Today she’s a Broker Associate at Keller Williams Realty Metropolitan in Bedford, NH, where a growing portion of her business consists of repeats and referrals. It’s her thorough approach and dedication to getting her clients towards their goals that sets her apart in this industry.
“I’m really good at communicating, so I always keep everyone in the know,” she says. No stone is left unturned, and when it comes to closing a deal, she utilizes her negotiation skills to get clients the best outcome. “After navigating the corporate world for so long, and working with C-level executives, keeping a deal together is really one of my strengths.” For her buyers, she listens closely to their needs and narrows down her search, never stopping until the ideal property is found. Meanwhile, her sellers enjoy professional marketing, with 3D matterport tours, photography, and videography. “Many people are wanting a more rural lifestyle because of the pandemic, so we’ve seen an influx of people moving to New England. We’re now putting a little more money upfront into our listings.” Stephanie will also advise on staging and outline what could be done to a property to bring in the most buyers and offers.
After the transaction, clients love to leave glowing reviews about their time together. One recently said, “Stephanie Murphy is top-notch, a true professional and I would not want to deal with another agent. During our recent home purchase and transition from Massachusetts to New Hampshire, she was always a step ahead so that we didn’t encounter any surprises and our process was smooth. Stephanie is a clear and efficient communicator, an expert in her field and a wonderful person to know beyond our great experience with her.”
When Stephanie isn’t working, she’s giving back to the community. She is a part of the Keller Williams Rainbow Network, with 25% of her commission supporting the LGBTQ Alliance. Stephanie is also a Homes for Heroes agent, which helps doctors, nurses, firefighters, policemen and other frontline workers afford homes. During any free time, Stephanie can be found biking, skiing, golfing and hiking.
Looking ahead, her sights are set on growing. “I’m just going to keep trying to do better than the year before,” she says. In the meantime, she’s loving every minute of her work. “It’s so rewarding to be able to help people with their real estate needs. Making the biggest transaction in people’s lives as easy as possible truly makes me happy.”
