Hello there! I am a queer Realtor, artist, nature enthusiast, and mother. I've lived on Whidbey Island for the past ten years and am very familiar with Island and Skagit counties.
I've chosen real estate so I can provide genuine, trustworthy support and guidance to those looking to make the monumental decision to buy or sell a home. Home ownership is one of the biggest milestones in a person's life, but it can be such a daunting process. As a Realtor, I realize I have the power to deeply impact my clients' lives, and I do not take that responsibility lightly. When my family moved all the way across the country to Washington in 2011, our real estate agent was such a positive influence in our lives. She welcomed us to the community, listened to our concerns, addressed all of our wants and needs, and above all, put our interests first. She embodied everything a real estate agent should be. Over a decade later and I still remember her fondly, and am so grateful for what she did for my family. That is the kind of role I aspire to have in my own clients' lives.
I've read a survey stating that unfortunately, many people don't trust real estate agents. This has inspired me to be the change I'd like to see. I believe in transparency, open communication, and developing relationships with my clients. I am interested in getting to know you beyond the transaction, so to speak, so I may better advocate for you and your wants. I've chosen to affiliate with Century 21 North Homes Realty because I believe their ethics align with mine. Using the technology, marketing materials, and education opportunities available to me via Century 21, I will continuously expand my own knowledge and resources so I can confidently guide you every step of the way. Together we will achieve whatever real estate goals you have.
When I'm not helping people buy and sell homes, I really enjoy doing my artwork, having outdoor adventures, spending time with my family, and learning about the natural world. I was a freelance artist for a few years before deciding to become a Realtor, so I am very creatively inclined and enjoy thinking outside the box.
