Community Involvement | The Paradise Association of Realtors has long been a supporter and partner of our community. We have actively supported the local Boys & Girls Club, Safe and Sober Grad Night and animal rescue organizations. We have worked annually in partnership with our neighboring associations in Chico, CA and Oroville, CA on an annual Gold Tournament which the proceeds benefit the Habitat for Humanity community housing program to promote affordable housing throughout our communities. Post Camp Fire and as we are underway on rebuilding our community, We are now afforded and uprecidented opportunity to work together in reshaping how we view community, and building a better and stronger culture in our steps forward. In support of the Equality Act, while promoting Diversity, Equity and Inclusivity, we want to ensure that ALL are represented and feel they are a part of a positive and more inclusive culture that we are creating as a unified community. |
Bio | Aubrey Pruis has been at the helm for 5 years now as the Executive Officer for the Paradise Association of Realtors (PAOR). Two days after his one year anniversary with the association, our community was all but destroyed by the devastating Camp Fire of 2018. Since the wildfire, Aubrey has tirelessly helped in leading the charge to get our community put back together. Aubrey has worked with the local government leadership along with employing the services of the Counselors of Real Estate Consulting Corp (CRE), an affiliated global non-profit organization that focuses on community development projects around the world. Aubrey and PAOR worked with the CRE team to assist our local government in navigating the rebuilding process and developing an actionable plan in rebuilding our community. Aubrey has worked in Business Administration for almost twenty years, and also served as Executive Officer for the Greater Phoenix Gay & Lesbian Chamber of Commerce (GPGLCC). Aubrey has been active in volunteering with various community organizations including but not limited to, the GLBTQ Youth Center for at risk youth as a mentor/counselor, served on the steering committee for the annual Aids Walk and Art Auction Gala for the Cascade AIDS Project in Portland, Oregon, in addition to helping organize annual fundraisers such as an annual Golf Tournament benefitting Habitat For Humanity to support affordable housing in our community. |
