Jon Melchi, the Executive Director of the Building Industry Association of Central Ohio (BIA), will provide a market update about new construction in the era of COVID and how builders are dealing with material and labor shortages. The BIA has served the Central Ohio Homebuilding community for more than 75 years by representing nearly 800 builder, developer and associate members. Before joining the BIA, Jon served as the Vice President of Government Affairs and Business Development with Heating, Air-conditioning and Refrigeration Distributors International (HARDI). He has served on the Board of Directors for the Family Business Coalition, the Small Business Legislative Council and is a current Board Member with the Ohio Society of Association Professionals. Jon is a graduate of The Ohio State University and lives in Worthington with his wife Amanda and daughters Mary and Claire.
